Sherwood Park Kitchen & Bath

We began work on this project in February and it is coming along nicely.  Our clients had been in the house a few years and in that time have identified some areas they wanted to improve.  The kitchen was at the top of the list followed by the upstairs hall bath.

As purchased, the kitchen had been renovated to the previous owner’s taste and requirements but our clients found that it didn’t function well for them.  The owners wanted to re-use the cabinets so they did some of the initial demo.  We are closing off the pocket doorway to the hall and opening up the wall to the dining room.  For the kitchen to dining room opening, a steel beam was tucked up in the ceiling for a smooth ceiling transition across the space.    Drywall is always a big milestone.

Ceiling painted, walls primed and oak flooring installed to match the adjoining dining space.  Boxes and boxes of cabinets are being installed.

In the upstairs hall bath a larger shower, new floor tile and a larger vanity comprise the bulk of the updates.  Partway through demo.  Here you can see the shower taking shape.

We will have updates during the project so stay tuned!
